How it Works:
1.  Sunlight penetrates the high transmittance safety glass of the insulated collector.  The sun’s energy is absorbed by metal sheets with a specialized coating that transmits heat to copper piping inside the collectors.

2.  When the temperature in the collectors is higher than the water in the tank a control unit automatically pumps a specialized collector fluid through the collectors. 

3.  The fluid absorbs the heat from the collectors and then travels through a heat transfer unit in the storage tank where it heats the water used in your home.

Our drainback or glycol flat plate collector systems are highly efficient, and are generally a lower cost solution for your hot water needs when compared to evacuated tube collectors.
